Stress and relaxation

Stress and relaxation

As the big day gets closer, i feel myself feeling the effects of stress more and more on my body. I mean with work, looking for a house, and planning this wedding I am a mess!! My neck, back, and shoulders are so sore, I am catching a cold again, and I am breaking out

Usually a glass of wine does it for me, but my tolerance is so high now, it takes a whole bottle!! My neighbors are going to start talking when they see all the empty wine bottles in my recycling bin. With that being said, I need some new ideas on how to relax!!

Bath and body works sells an aromatherapy line and the Eucalyptus scent is meant to relax but i personally love the Lavender scent. They sell a spray you can spray it on your pillow it's the best. They also have candles and lotions.

All the above are great ideas, and then just to add:

I like to write down everything stressing me out that's on my mind (don't let anyone read it - so you'll be totally honest with yourself) and then your mind won't have to keep running around trying to remember everything you have to do and everything stressing you out. Then I put the list in my drawer and give myself time out from it all. Physically putting the 'stressful items' away for an evening really makes me feel 'allowed' to relax.

Xanax or Valum

Don't hate, the little xanax pill does wonders on stress effects. i'm tellin ya I am now their spokes bride. And My DR can show how she saved me by putting me on it (For when I need it only! Ofcorse).

I always joked about it and when my DR advised me I almost died.. It was just too funny.

Funny you should say that, FH gave me the Eucalyptus one and the Sensual one for my birthday. That stuff really does help! I usually use the eucalyptus lotion after the gym to help with the sore muscles

Yes.. i went there because I had a sinus infection. Then I told her how my hair was thinning out and I was breaking out. She asked me if i was stressed and I told her I was planning a wedding. She pretty much laughed and said she was going to give me something to 'help' ease my mind a bit and to take it when I was overwhelmed. And it helps alot!!! She told me its common especially with Brides-to-be.

This is one of the things that work for me too.

Oh Kristen!! You think you're stressed? I'm losing my mind over here. I didnt feel the stress/anxiety kick in until about a month ago. Now I'm just going on autopilot and making Bri take care of the hairiest of things. Tell Pete the same.
