stress questions

Ok, im feeling stressed and need some advice. I need to vent. THere are all these things that I feel arent going right and i need advice.
First, I know about my shower, which is fine b/c i live upstate and my shower willbe in LI...but they are planning it for June 3rd, my wedding is JULY 8th, is that too close to the date?
2nd: I am getting my first fitting this Saturday, and I still have no shoes, will they still do the fitting?
THird: I just got my invites in, and the RSVP date is June 1st. When should they be sent out by if my wedding is July 8?
The last thing is that I know there are a million more things to do and I cant even think of them!

It isn't too close. Mine was 3/4 for 4/8 wedding

You need shoes for the hem. Them may not do the hem until you have your shoes.

Aim to put your invites in the mail May 1st. You give people enough time to respond.

i do not think your shower is too close. That is fine..

As for your fitting, i do not think they will do a fitting without them. Try and postpone your fitting so you will have enough time to get shoes.

I think you should send your invites out the last week in april with a June 1st rsvp date. It is the summer and people go on vacation!

My shower is NEXT MONTH so yours is fine.

You will need shoes for your fitting. Even if it's not the same shoes you will be wearing, at the very least you should have shoes that are the same heel height that you will wear the day of.

I would send the invites out the end of April for a June 1st RSVP date.

Take a deep breath girl. You'll be OK. This is a completely normal feeling. For me, honestly, I need to have my breakdown moments in order for me to feel sane again. Crazy, I know, but what ever works for ya, right?!

Anywho, the shower is not too close. I'm sure they picked that date for a good reason. I wouldn't worry about that. Also, you don't need the exact shoes your going to be wearing, but you do need the heel size you'll be wearing. Go try on a bunch of different heel sizes, see which you are most comfortable in, and then go buy a cheap pair for the fitting. If you do stumble across shoes that you love though for the wedding, all the better! Depending on if you have OOT guests or not, you can send your invites out 8-10 weeks before. If you have OOT'ers then You can opt to send them out sooner. B/c I had so many OOT'ers I sent mine out about 12 weeks in advance. HTH. Feel better.
