Last night I went to RH and changed my date to 02/12/11. I went from having 423 days to 191 days over night. The only thing I have booked is the RH. Whats the most important vendor to book next? I feel like I have not time now.

Do you have your dress yet? Ordered BM dresses? After we booked our RH I started looking at photographers (that took some time) and DJ.

Firstly, calm down:) uve got plenty of time to do it all. Think David tutera does it in 3 weeks.lol.
I would say dress, florist and photo are next. Definitely the dress because it takes the longest. Good luck and I'm sure it will b amazing

I got engaged on May 23 this year and am getting married on October 17th this year. There is plenty of time. Just take it one step at a time. When we first got engaged, each week we picked one major vendor and worked only on that. Once that vendor was booked, we moved onto the next. And we never looked ahead to see what else we need to do, just focused on that one thing. You have your RH, now go shop for your dress. That should be the fun part.
We did, dress, RH, photo, DJ - pretty much in that order. I took care of flowers by myself. Just booked our officiant last night. Invites and guest list were done when we were home at night and could not do anything else. We find moments to do things here and there. Accessories, hair/makeup trials - found time. I try to set aside a few hours on Sat to do any appts/ running around for the wedding and usually I take my MOH or Mom with me, it helps to have a second opinion with me when I am trying to do things because I don't have to come back after I talked it over with them. I get an opinion on the spot and we can make a decision.
I am also doing a TON of DIY projects - cardbox, placecards, favors, table numbers, etc. Again five minutes here and there.
Best money I spent so far, was on someone to address the invites for us. Saved me so much time and head banging.

I say photographer, DJ, dress and florist. Most florists wont turn you away but if a DJ or photographer is booked there is nothing that can be done.

I say go for the DJ and Photographer first. You really need to love them and need to book them before someone else does!

my cousin planned a wedding in under 4 months..and she had 300 people! you can totally do it. I think the dress is hardest bc they have to order it so get on that.

i woud do phot next..a good frien wanted a certain photog for dec of 2011 and they were already booked for that day so if u have a certain one in mind i would do that first
