I just called the store to check on my dress. I ordered it back in January, and I was told that it would get here in May. My wedding is in early July.
I was told that it's scheduled to ship on May 23 and that it'll arrive a couple of days later.
I want my dress to be here already!!!
How many fittings did you girls have? Will I have enough time to do everything? I'm just so stressed about everything right now...

Dont worry! The very same thing happened to me. I ordered my dress and in Feb of 04, my dress I was told would arrive in September and I would call and call and call and I would hear the same thing- Its being shipped. Well it didnt arrive until the end of Feb of 05 beginning of March. My wedding was April 17th. I had 3 fittings and the dress came out beautifully, They will do what they have to , to get your dress done. You will be OK!

Wow....they are calling it a little closer than I would be comfortable with. I am having 3 fittings, possibly a 4th if everything is not perfect at the next one.

I am in the same position!
My wedding is July 8 in Ireland - and I'm leaving the US on May 28 to go back to Ireland for the month before the wedding. They told me my dress would be in mid-April. It's now May and still no sign of my dress. I'm getting worried!!

Same predicament here. I am in Chicago. My wedding is in NY. My wedding is JUly 3. Bridal Salon said that they placed a June 3 date on my order form. I leave to go to NY June 25. DRESS IS STILL NOT HERE! Plus these losers already charged me for the balance of the dress (I am trying to get that removed). I am freaking out about the fittings. Thanks for this post. I don't feel as if I am the only one anymore.

I hear your stress! My dress ordered in September just came in and I was feeling quite anxious. I actually only need two fittings so it worked out ok. They'll have to make sure to get your fittings in since they know your date. Sorry you have to worry but they'll make it happen for you!

Our ceremony is June 4th and I am finally having my first fitting tonight. Apparently, they like to cut it close!

mine just came in last week. and i am going for my first fitting on Friday. Don't worry you will have plenty of time. June is a long month.

Your thread game me the push to call the wedding salon about my dress b/c they said it would be here in May too. The woman on the phone was like oh well Monique Lhulier is running late so your dress might not come in in May and gave me a date- I was like I will be on my honeymoon by that point so please get the dress in now. Thanks. Ugh. ETS: They called me back and appologized for the sales ladies meanness - wow I did not even say anything just thought to myself that the woman was short with me on the phone. My dress should be here by 5/19. Woo hoo.
