So initially we wanted to do a midnight summers dream theme...Which is impossible unless you're Hugh Hefner! So then we figured that we could just make it more like an enchanted forest and have branches and candles everywhere. FH was concerned that it would just look like a woods theme so he suggested just a romantic theme so on our invitations we put a love quote by Shakespeare and he wants our table numbers to be love quotes. I am officially freaking out there is no continuity in anything besides purple! Any ideas on what we could do??

Stressed about our theme! - Long Island Weddings
Honestly, we don't officially have a 'theme' persay. Our colors are navy blue, lime/apple green, whites-ivories and everything has a very traditional, elegant, and romantic feel. We have lots of monograms, and continuity of flowers, fonts on stationary etc. Then we have added our own personal touches (guest book, cute signs in bathrooms, fun colored socks, my shoes, etc) to make it our own. I don't think you should try to force a 'theme' too hard. That can sometimes make it kitschy and will narrow down your choices. My advice is to just pick decor, fashion, stationary, etc based on what you both love, what flows well and represents you as a couple. In my humble opinion if you do it that everything will come together perfectly!

We don't have a theme! Don't worry. Just tying together everything we love through our colors.

You don't need to have a theme. BUT, if you like the candles and tree branch look. Maybe do the branches and candles on every other table and for the tables in between just do a set of candles.

We have no theme. I honestly think it sounds really beautiful. I originally wanted branches and candles as centerpieces. I think with the love quotes it makes it very romantic.
