stressed about the weather - please help

the forcast for my wedding is somewhere between sunny and 40-60% chance of rain/thunderstorms depending where you look..

im supposed to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour

i cant stop checking the weather even though i know theres nothing i can do about it AND i know that theres still 3 days for it to change.

my hall keeps asking about my rain plan (i have two options). im really going to be heartbroken if i have to move it inside. i know its silly cause im still marrying my perfect match.. i just need some and mostly a lot of

Everything will still be PERFECT!! It rained on my wedding day,,,ALL DAY,,,and it bothered me a little in the beginning,, but once you're all done and dressed up,, not even a monsoon will bother you!! As long as you have other options in case it does,, everything will still be perfect! Our pictures came out great too! You couldnt even tell it was raining and no body was making weird squinting faces,,,hahah!!! Don't let it make you crazy, as hard as that may sound!!! Have a wonderful day and the weather still can change!!!

I wouldn't stress, first because it is too early to tell what the weather will be and second, because you will have a wonderful day despite whatever happens!

Two things

1. Dont stress yet, you still have plenty of time for that to change-and it will change all the way up until the morning of

2. This is something you can NOT control, really dont let it ruin your day!!!

you're stressing yourself out over something you KNOW you can not change. STOP LOOKING AT THE WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sometimes i think we are gluttons for punishment---everything else is probably perfectly planned to a T so you don't have to worry......but you just can't take your focus off the thing that can't be changed at all. you will be fine---if the CH and ceremony have to be moved inside---so be it! its okay! you just have to get over this and get over it FAST or else you will be upset on the big day and have a sour puss on

sorry i've i'm being harsh---but i just know this is one of those things that you have to snap yourself out of!

The weather worried me too a lil so don't feel like that is abnormal- you are human! But, at the same time, I think to myself 'it is not THAT bad' meaning the forecast is calling for thunderstorms here and there in the LATE afternoon/evening. You are a day wedding- if anything, you are in better shape than me!

Either way- your day will be wonderful and if you let it bother you so much then it will end up ruining the day or part of it and that is so sad! Don't let it bring you down-- but just keep thinking positive and hopefully it will all be OK.

I've been checking the weather for 9/9 since like 10 days ago and it has changed SIX times LOL... And at first I was all upset- but after the third change I was like oh forget it! haha!

In the summer it is SO common for thunderstorms to be predicted and not much to happen :::knock wood::: but that happens a lot- and it comes and goes or doesn't come at all... If it was a Hurricane they were predicting I would worry- but scattered t-storms in the summer? Bahh-- I think we will both be OK!

i know exactly how you feel. both my ceremony and cocktail hour are supposed to be outside too and i'm starting to get upset that it might not happen.

however, i'm also trying to look on the bright side and rationalize that it's not the worst thing that could happen and since it's out of my control, i shouldn't stress. i'm definitely bummed but i'm just trying to be positive. i know it's easier said than done, but regardless of the weather, i'm sure our day will be BEAUTIFUL

I feel stress too. To make me feel a little better, FH keep telling me that clouds in the sky is pefect for picture taking because it doesnt give us shadow on our face....as long as it doesn't rain
