I feel like having kids in the wedding is really stressing me out. Between who wont wear what and who doesnt like the dress, and who wont wear a vest and walk down the aisle. Is it terrible to just have adults walk down the aisle? I feel bad but i really hate the stress.
the reality is they are kids! if you are okay with imperfection just for that part i would say go for it. i have 4 kids under the age of 5 participating and while i am a little anxious i think i can handle it! they are too cute and are my neices/nephews! its a right of passage. sorry its stressing you so much! see how their parents feel and if they rather not!
I don't think its terrible to just have adults walk down the aisle...we're not having any kids in our wedding. There arent too many kids in our families, and even though I think FH's cousin would make an adorable flower girl he doesnt think she would want to do it. If its stressing you out just skip it.
I'm not having any kids either. Its not a requirement. much less stress too :)
Can't you just pick something for them to wear and be done with it? My neice is my flower girl, I picked a dress and I was done...My sis ordered it and that was it... Sorry they are stressing you... I am not sure if they are related to you but if they are, think about how special they are to you and try not to stress...Kids are kids...They are unpredictable..... But having my neice walk down the aisle in front of me is just soooo special to me...
Thanks girls for the advice. I think it is more the parents than the kids who are making a big deal. I am sure the kids dont even care what they will wear.
Thats exactly why there are no kids IN my wedding or AT my wedding.
