I have my first formal observation on Tuesday, first day we get back after a 3 day weekend...
I am anxious and can't seem to fully enjoy this 3 day weekend b/c cant stop thinking about it..
at least it will be over with soon..ughhh

dont stress over it...you'll do fine. All of my observations are unannounced....It always makes your stomach drop when you walk in and see an administrator standing there...good luck you will do fine!

Yea- well 2 weeks ago I walked in and my principal was sitting there ..it was a surprise informal! ughhhh One thing I HATE about being a teacher!

If it makes you feel any better, I'm having my first formal observation in three years on Thursday. (I'm tenured, and my director usually just writes up a major concert rehearsal as our annual observation. I think he got reprimanded this year for doing that last year, so all tenured music teachers have to have a real observation this week.)

O wow that stinks esp coming back from a 3 day weekend. What time is the observation? It's good to have it around 9am.... most kids are still alseep at this time esp after a 3 day weekend lol Im sure you will do great!

haha- its third period so 1005...I teach kids with autism so 3 days without structure and then first day back sometimes they can be a little off..
but it is what it is...i just cant wait to its over!
