I am wearing what I would call an off-white dress. It is not white but it is not a yellow looking ivory. I went to Mens Wearhouse to get tuxes and am confused about the shirt. Everyone says get ivory shirt for FH or it would look silly in pictures, but their ivory shirt looks yellow to me. Any girls wearing a shade of ivory what are you doing????

if ur gown is 'ivory' then i'd get an ivory or cream shirt..if it's 'diamond white' then i'd probably stick with white. i'd see if u can pick the shirt though...different designers have different color swatches - u dont want him to get one thats more on the yellow scale!

My dress was ivory and our tuxedo place said that all the men (DH, GM, Dads, etc.) should wear ivory shirts so that my dress didn't look dingy next to the white shirts.
My dress wasn't a yellow ivory either - it was more creamy than anything.

There have been a few 08 girls who wore an ivory or diamond white dress, and had their FH wear a white shirt / ivory vest.
Personally I just don't like the look at all!
There are other options for tuxedo places, if the place you wanted to use has yellow-ivory shirts. There are light ivory shirts that go perfectly with an ivory or diamond white dress. Shop around
My DH wore an ivory shirt and ivory vest, there are pics in my review. It was not yellow or dingy at al, and complemented my dress perfectly.
