I am going crazy right about now. I just can't seem to get with the Wedding program. I have 6 months left to go and all I have is
Church Reception Video/photo Dress is ordered, but not in yet.
I promise myself, this month to pick out the DJ/MC, Invitations & BM dresses and to stop being so picky.
Is there anyone else out there moving at turtle pace as well?

Hi Spitzergirl, I am at Turtle pace right now. We are up to invitations, we're going to look in a couple of weeks. We need to pick out music, finalize flowers, etc. I just don't have the mind set for it right now.
I know exactly how you feel. It is about wanting to get married but not wanting anymore planning.
AND, I want to go on vacation now, I am saving my time for our honeymoon, but I need some days sooner rather than later.
It will all work out for both of us, maybe we just need a day at the Spa!

Glad to know I have a friend! It is not like we don't care about us...it is just procrastination at it's finest. I am so , so, so tired. I try to look through wedding books, to get ideas.....at night and I end up falling asleep, right in the book.
I don't know how the other girlz are so up speed, when it comes to planning. I can't blame it on just my mother and I are the ones planning. Because that should be enough. I think?
I feel it would be quicker and less stressful, if I had some more family members helping me.

I am getting married amonth before you and all I have that you dont...the DJ!!
I cant get into the planning, i keep saying I really have to focus but we have been focusing on a house hunting and have let the wedding become an afterthought! I keep making timelines for myself on what I have to have done by when, but with each date I still dont have that item done!
This is the month though! I swear!

I found my energy and interest came and went. Right now I'm 99 days away and driven by sheer panic! I found it helped to write a little list, and just do one thing at a time.

Been there- done that! I couldn't even think about work and my boss pulled me into his office to talk to me about it. Big problems.
I am beginning to realize that there is plenty of time to do this. I am getting married 1 month after you and I don't have a video (although I have some options), florist, honeymoon and I haven't ordered by dress yet (but plan on doing it this week). The vendors try to pressure us about time and its not always necessary.
Make a list of specific tasks to do adn try to do them at lunch or before or after work.

awe..you'll get there..I was about at the same place as you when i had six months left...you are doin ok...makeup artsists fill up quick, so that may be something you want to book..but other than that..i think you re right where you need to be!!! Weddings are stressful and Expensive..we had to book a little at a time just to save up for it!! Good luck!!
