Ok so I recently posted asking for suggestions for hair and makeup and although I am not too worried about the makeup bc I have 3 trials set up, Im stressing over the hair!! I have a slight obession with my hair and I consider it to be a focal point of a women's beauty. On top of that I am undecided of which hairstyle I want. I am leaning towards down with curls, but I also like half up half down and the side bun. Does anybody know of a great hairstylist who will travel and can do a loose curls hairstyle? Pics would be GREAT! I'm a tad picky w the loose curls, I dont want it to look cheesy and cliche wedding hairstyle, but I also dont want it to look casual and everyday. My favorite picture is the Eva Longoria one. Any suggestions???

Sorry I cant help cause I'm in your boat with hair issues too! I'm afraid someone is going to make me look like a 1997 wedding in a tight up do or like curly sue with ringlets. Problem is I feel like I'm too nice to be able to tell someone to fix my friggin head so Id probably walk out of the place looking like 1 of the 2. Hence why I cant commit to booking a hair trial with anyone.

LoveyDovey, I actually just looked at your album, and I was so happy that you posted so many pics of your hair trials, I wish everybody would do that!! lol I contacted Jen the Hair Genie via email and she never responded. Rosanne I feel overcharges for a hair trial, but she does do several hair styles so Im debating whether I should try her out. The only thing w her is that Ive seen a lot of her trial pics, and I feel like she does the same thing for every trial, and Im not blown away by it. Who did you wind up using???

I feel the same way about the curly sue ringlets!!! I just really want to avoid having to spend hundreds on hair trials considering that weddings are costly as it is. Hence why I need help from my LIwedding gals!!
BTW- If you feel youre too nice, I suggest you bring a friend/relative with you, preferrably someone who has no problem opening her mouth and speaking up for you. Start booking those trials girl! Good luck!!

I am using this girl Lauren, I forget her exact site, I am not home on my computer

I had trials with roseanna and jen...fm if you want info on that
I had the same issues as you two girls...i hate the bridal look, i hate the shirley temple curls...the only person who nailed it was Lauren and she is reasonably priced, 100 for the day of, 75 for trial...which was all well worth it
