im sending out my invites right after the postage change, so im looking into it, and i see that there are no new wedding stamps...ok, i'm getting past this, but i see there are no new stamps for the big envelope (would be 59cents). What are you girls doing? The only way I see this working is to put on like 5 stamps!! Please help!!!!

This postage situation is the WORST!! You can go to zazzle.com and get stamps made, or you can suck it up and put the 63 cent stamp on.

The postage changes May 14th. you will need to make your rsvp's for 41 cents.

They're not making new wedding stamps?!
Yikes - I think I'm going to suck it up and pay more to have them made at Zazzle. I already designed ones that match our invites, anyway. Now I think it'll be worth the extra $$!

The 'Wedding Invitation' stamp- which is normally .62 is going down to .58. They've raised the 1 ounce postage, but lowered the 2 oz.

No, I get that. They are saying that they aren't releasing new wedding stamps in .58! ETA - or at least not at the same time as the change in postage.

I had e-mailed the Postmaster General a few months back asking about the new wedding stamps & they told me July....but there was no mention of a rate increase soooo maybe it's been delayed. Who knows...certainly no one atthe Post Office knows !!

I spoke to five different post offices and they all said no date has been released for the new wedding stamps and one even said not until next Valentine's Day....this is crazy who knew stamps would be so much of a hassle??!?!?!

I went to the post office today and spoke to a man there. He said flat out they have no idea when they are coming in. The only advice he could give me is send them out before the rate increase and add a 2 cent stamp to the RSVP. I am just going to take him up on this. This is something I am not going to waste my time stressing over. Every night I basically dream about the wedding and how a vendor does not show up . . . stamps are the least of my concern.

The PO I went to told me May 14th.
I bought .63 for the outer envelope. .39 for the rsvp and the only ugly .02 stamps to also go on the rsvp card.

I made my stamps on zazzle! i really had no other choice! i just sent them out today and my RSVP is 5/29 after the increase

I know. I actually just mailed mine out on Saturday. And since I will be getting my responses back after May 14th, I had to put a 39 cent stamp(which I bought around valentines day with the hershey kisses b/c I thought they were perfect) along with the lovely navajo necklace 2cent stamp. (lol) On the outer envelope I had a 63 cent stamp. I went through the same thing, and they were out of wedding stamps. The guy at the post office didn't know when they would be making new ones with the different postage. So thats what I ended up doing. Wasn't happy about it, but people understand, they know the postage is going up.
