I was thinking, if any of you would want to walk with me during the annual breast cancer walk in October.
Fh and I attend many walks, in High School I was a key clubber and very active in fund raising for MS, Unicef and the march of dimes.
If a bunch of us do it, we could really bring the world closer to finding a cure, also it could be a LIW thing, since you often have to join a team. We could have a LIW or Brides-to -be team and wear cool t-shirts. It's for a good cause, so please someone support me on this.

Where's the walk? I could google it, but I'm too lazy and need to jump in the shower before going to lunch and the RH (again). LOL they must hate me.

Re: Strides Against Breast Cancer
if its the walk at Jones Beach, i've done it before, i would totally do it again!
I'd do Jones Beach. Think it's easily accessible to all on LI and the city.

They have walks all over. I usually attend the ones in the city, but I will do both of them. The one in Central Park is on Sunday October 19th. It's really a lot of fun, you just walk in a group and chat with other people and you get to wear PINK! I am so glad you ladies are interested!

I usually plan it for my job, but we do the one in Queens. It's a little early for me to know for sure but i'll find out soon if i'll be able to walk again this year.

Re: Strides Against Breast Cancer
OOOOOOHHHH this is something I'm definitely interested in. I used to do it every year in college. I've done some other walks too. I was thinking about doing this with my students this year, but let me know if you want to get a team together here.
