string quartet

my little brother has been involved in a string quartet at his school for quite some time. he really loves playing his viola & talks about his performances constantly. the last time he was over he was telling us how his quartet is going to this wonderful summer program they were accepted to.

so we asked his quartet to play at our cocktail hour!
he was honored & excited. its their first wedding 'gig'. he's also a GM so it will be a big day for him (& he's only 14!).

I emailed your brother, but i see they are in Westchester do they travel out to long island. Also what is going to happen when they graduate high school. Since my wedding is in 2005 probably around the time they are graduating, would they still be around here or do they plan to go to college out of state.

What a great idea to get a student group. A friend of mine hired a college quartet and they were so much cheaper than professionals and yet they were great (her wedding was in Rochester and the quartet was from the Eastman School of Music)
