String quartet at church ceremony.

For any girls who are having a string quartet at their church ceremony/mass, did your church give you any problems?

For some reason i feel like the Deacon said that we would need to pay the musical director there regardless of if we used the organist or their singer. This was also about 7 months ago so i could be wrong.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I believe my church said that I have to pay them too no matter what. I definitely plan on getting a singer for the church because the same guy from when I was a little girl is still the singer and definitely not what I want at my wedding.
