First of all, check out Vitamin String Quartet on ITunes. They're AMAZING, and cover all the bands you mentioned. The string quartet I contacted did rock covers. They were VenusEnsembles.com. Speak with Jessica, she's very nice!
We are buying all the songs from VSQ off ITunes, then putting them on a playlist for our ceremony and CH. HTH!

I used Capriccio Ensemble and they were awesome! My DH wanted some Black Sabbath played, we passed along the 3 songs that we wanted and the group learned them. Natalie was so great to work with and one of my favorite vendors even though I only saw her face to face for a total of about 3 minutes (we worked over email). Highly, highly recommend them.

I'm using them! and I'm super impressed with Natalie's renditions on rock!
She does great stuff with Beatles stuff too.

I am using the VSQ for my wedding too. they are great!
Me three. I love them. My favorite is Just Like Heaven. Im using this for the bridal party to walk too. Not sure what im walking to yet.
I will have a mix of other VSQ songs for seating and such.

I second Vitamin String Quartet- they cover EVERYTHING- from the beatles to Marilyn Mason- I'm gonna download them and u it for my cermeony as well
