Can anyone recommend one? Or advise to steer clear of one? Thanks! :)

Re: String Quartets
We used a string quartete thru The Royal Brass. They were very good and we received many compliments.

Re: String Quartets
We had a terrific flute, violin, cello trio! We used Encore. They provided such an elegant feel to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour!

Re: String Quartets
If you don't mind me asking...how much money do string quartets usually go for (for ceremony or cocktail hour). I would love to have one but am wondering if I can fit it into my budget.

Re: String Quartets
i have heard any where from around $100 per musician to around $700-800 and up! If you go through a 'middle person' it is going to be more expensive -- for example my dj company offers a string quartet, but it costs a lot more than if we just went out and hired one on our own.

Re: String Quartets
We paid about 800 for 3 musicians, for a total of 2 hours.

Re: String Quartets
I priced out Royal Brass and they were $200 per musician and that was for the ceremony. So its about $800.
