Re: string quartets....
If you go to the Vendors Helping Brides section, you can request some quotes. I just did that last week and got some CD's and prices already.

Re: string quartets....
There's a vendor on the recommended vendors for the Bourne names Stan Weist, that's who we got our quartet through, I believe it was around $1,200...

Re: string quartets....
if you're looking to save some money, you could check out some local high schools. you might be able to find a student quartet who will probably only charge $200-$500 for the ceremony and cocktail hour. i used to do that with my high school quartet. it's a great experience for the students and honestly, there are plenty of high school kids out there that are just as professional as the real professionals. HTH!

Re: string quartets....
I'm using Marie Stack (a vendor on here and she is great!) and her price was the best. I think its $450 for the string trio for the church.

Re: string quartets....
I used Charmanade Players for my String Trio. They played along with my organist at my church and I also got a trumpet player to play too (I always wanted a trumpet for 'Here Comes the Bride'. _ They were pricey for only playing for one hour, but TOTALLY worth it! Everyone commented. FM me if you need more info.

$650 for a quartet..... The Vintage String Quartet was running a special for LIW when I booked. They were at the wedding of the year and are awesome!

If on a budget, you can also check out university students.
