My RSVP date has passed, and I need to invite some more ppl to get upto my minimum guarantee. I don't have any RSVP cards with a different date... I'm wondering whether I should white out and write over the RSVP date..
What's the best way to send out invites to B-listers without making it too obvious?

Re: STUCK: Invites to B-listers after RSVP date
Buy plain cardstock and go to Staples or Kinkos and have them print more RSVPs with a later date. It's cheap and quick.

At this point it seems like your only option... Or, maybe you can include the rsvp card just as is and later just explain that there was a mistake made by printer on the rsvp date? or don't include the rsvp card, just the envelope?

do you have a LOT of them?
If not - you could always send the original invite & insert a note with a blatant lie that you received theirs back in the mail....

Or, you can buy cardstock and make them yourself, on your own printer. Are these B-listers people who know any of the A-listers?? Would they have known they were not invited originally?
You can also send the originals and include a note being completely honest. Say that you wanted to invite them but weren't sure you'd have room (because you have a lot of family to invite, etc ... ), and now that you do, you want them to share in your day with you ... ? Honesty IS the best policy, really.

Another suggestion is that you could not include the RSVP card. Call or email them after you've sent the invite and say the printer messed up and didn't print enough RSVP's so they should call or email their response to you.

You can order plain RSVP. I got mine in Farmingdale. Or I would go to Michaels and get blank ones and do them on the computer. I think if you write over them, they will know they are on the B list and that is not good. JMO. FM if you need more help.

I'm with you on that! People have to understand that weddings are costly - So what if they are B-listers? At least they will know that you want them there now that you're able to!

This is such a hard thing to do..
I'm going to print extra RSVP cards! that seems like the best option.. although some of these B listers know A-listers.. hahah
