STUFFING INVITATIONS...

okay..sounds like alot of you sent out your invitations this week....
i plan on stuffing mine this week and sending them off on sat. what is the appropriate order of stuffing them? thanks!

I don't think I did mine the correct way, but one set of instructions told me one thing, another set told me something different, so I picked the way that looked nicest to me.

My invitation does not open, everything is printed on the front. So I placed that in the front of the envelope, with the type facing the back (so it will be visible as soon as you open the envelope). Behind that, I placed my RSVP card, with the envelope behind it, flap on top. My direction cards, etc., I placed behind the RSVP.

One set of directions told me to place the RSVP card in front of the invitation, but that didn't seem right to me, since you lose the initial effect of the invitation. Another set told me to do it as I did, but to stuff the RSVP, etc. inside the invitation. Since mine doesn't open, that confused me also.

To me, the presentation was the important thing, and hopefully this will look nice to others. I hope this helps, though I'm not sure it was right!

this is how i did mine, too.. for the same reason i thought it looked best when you open up the envelope and see the invite right away instead of the RSVP card and reception card.... so the invitation was in front, then the reception card, then the RSVP card then the directions and hotel info sheet....
