How do I Properly Stuff Envelopes for a Wedding?

Take the simplest approach by spreading your materials in an assembly-line. Pick up the following in order:
1. The Invitation Card (face up)
2. Tissue (optional)
3. Reception Card (always closest to the Invitation)
4. Response Card Envelope
5. Response Card is tucked in, under the flap of the envelope
6. Tissue (optional)

Remember to have the printed copy running in the same direction on all of these cards.

Place these items into the 'inner envelope', printed side facing you. With the front of the 'inner envelope' ---facing you ---insert it into the outer envelope.

ETA: I found this on a site...I am not the invite stuffing nazi!

..................................................................................

I bought seals for mine, i have a daisy theme and got silver seals with daisies on them. They were $3.75 for 25.
Are you supposed to seal the inner envelope?

I'm doing pocketfolds and not doing inner outer envelopes...just 1 outer and inserts and RSVP envelope will be in pocket...is this a bad idea?

not at all....that is why the pocketfolds don't have inner envelopes because everything is together in the invite.

i think i am doing pocketfold as well...however if i am inviting a whole family on an invite do i just address it to 'The Barclay Family' on the envelope since there is no inner envelope to write each person's name that is invited.

THANKS Anna for posting this though. Just in case i don't do pocketfolds I will definitely need this

I have always done..Mr & Mrs. Name Last name & family but I just read somewhere that you are suppose to put the children's names as well.

so I guess it would be:

Mr. & Mrs. Name Last Name
John, Kerry & Mary

I think I may print up a direction card for church just because it's not a common place that people are familiar with. (I'm getting married in the chapel of the college I graduated from)

I would put the direction cards in back of the reception card.

JMO...hth!
