hahaha that was my question last weekend!!! The wedding I was at had them. I thought it was not nice to do that to the doves. I kept thinking they were just going to die. I was then told that they are called 'homing pigeons' or something like that. They fly home!! In this particular situation they flew home to kings park from oakdale. I also found out they have races with these birds. They let them go and the winner is the first one home. I love the idea now!!
ye they fly home and you are only allowed to get doves if your ceremony is before sundown. mine is 630pm and I was told im good if I want them bec the sun doesnt set until 820-30pm in June.
