I have frozen chopped meat that i want to use for tonights dinner...can i? what should i do?? I know, im retarted...please help..thanks.

defrost it.... by either taking it out of the freezer and letting it sit or by using the defrost mechanism on your microwave...

You should be able to defrost it in the microwave by using the button for defrosting. What are you making? Tonight we are having meatloaf.

Awww, thats so nice. I usually defrost it by taking it out of the freezer in the morning when I get up. You can try to see if it defrosts on its own but I don't think it will totally defrost in 2-3 hours if you just took it out.If it doesn't,you can use the defroster on the microwave.Not a problem.

What time do you want to start cooking? I'd say leave it out and if it's still frozen put it in the microwave on the defrost setting. Mmmmmm....shepard's pie! YUM

If it doesn't....just throw it in the mic. on defrost...
When my mic. was broken and before I got my new...I would run the frozen chix under the hot water tap (ok, I was desperate) but it worked...
Not sure how that would work for ground beef though

You can cook frozen chopmeat, put it in the fry pan, and cook it up, then just make the dish!! i ALWAYS cook frozen chopmeat!
