Does my sister have to be my MOH??? I am not close w/ her and we really dont get along. I am much closer with my cousin and I know she is always going to be there for me whenever I need help. My sister automatically thinks she is going to be my MOH, but I cannot depend on her at all. ugh and help I would really appreciate!

No, she doesn't have to be. Pick whoever you are closer with especially if you don't get along. You don't want to be arguing on your wedding day.

I had the same situation. In the end I did pick my sister as MOH because I didnt have another close family member to do it. I really think that it is up to you on this one. What made my final decision was I didnt want it to be something that I would regret if we are closer one day, especially because I know she will outgrow the phase she is in now.

It's your wedding and you should definatly pick who you want to pick. My sister isn't my MOH...but the big reason for that is she'll only be 14 at the time of the wedding.

Its your weddding and you get to pick whoever you want to be in your wedding party and what role they play. Just because she is your sister does not mean she has to be your MOH, its your choice

I agree with the other girls, if you aren't that close with her then you don't need to have her as your MOH you need to have who you are closest with
I would choose the cousin - totally up to you, but its also totally acceptable to have 2 MOH - just throwin it out there...

no it is def your choice this is funny you are asking this I was just talking to this girl last night and she said when she gets married she will have her cousin be MOH and not her sis cause they dont get along.
