The most common grammar violations on these boards:

there / their / they're
would of (instead of would have)

It's all fine. Everyone is typing fast and not thinking... I sometimes read my own threads and think 'Yikes, what was I typing?!'

Of course everyone makes spelling and/or grammatical errors sometimes, but there are those on here who make the same mistakes so often that it's obviously a part of their lifestyle!!

I am pretty sure that I am a repeat offender. When I went to college the main focus was on construction not grammar or spelling. So please excuse me when I make obvious mistakes . I can design anything for civil or structural engineering but my writing skills leave a lot to be desired.

heheheheh, same here. Want to know about biochemistry? I'm your girl! As a manuscript author, however, I tend to require numerous drafts before something comprehensible is produced

I'm an English teacher and sometimes I make mistakes- it's only b/c we are all typing so fast! (I would NEVER mix up advice and advise though!)
That being said- my pet peeve is when people write in all caps.
