When we threw a surprise shower for a friend we actually smuggled out one of her outfits to change into once we surprised her..lol

My sisters actually told me to buy an outfit and give it to them...which I have done...they will bring it when the shower is...b/c mine is a surprise as of now as well...and then I can change...we did the same for my sister

Good question!

My MoH acutally came to visit FH and I from her home in Tennessee the weekend of my shower which was a surprise.

She does photography as a hobby and wanted to give FH and I our own 'photo shoot' so she can put together an album of photos of the two of us.
So she did the photo shoot the day of my shower and then FH was in on everything so he set the rest up that I couldn't change out of my dress clothes afterwards.

Dress nicely for any suspicious lunch dates or shopping trips on weekend afternoons in the couple of months before your wedding.

I'm not into having someone hold my shower outfit and go there unfit for a warm welcome from so many people. I know that there will be 80+ people at my shower, at a nice restaurant....the last thing I need is to walk in with a velour suit on, sneakers and a bandana in my hair and hear, 'Surprisee!!!'' lol

Fh knows to trick me into thinking we are going out for a birthday dinner/party or a dressy-up type of event....he's been warned lol They did this for his sister last year and she had no clue!

I am either going to do this or just start dressing very nicely when I am invited to lunch, etc like missliss said.

I had an entire outfit (dress, shoes) set aside with my mom and she brought it to the shower with her. I arrived in regular clothes, said hi to everyone and went to change, took just a couple of minutes.

This is what I'd recommend - worked great for me.

Yes, give the host of ur party an outfit. I just only hope my hair will be done too

i don't know when my shower is t's a suprise i left my dress shoes make-up ect. at my mom's house so i can change.

or leave your dress in your car to change into just in case or give it to your mom or MOH

DH told me we were meeting friends for brunch and to dress nicely.

I will buy a dress and give it to my sisters so they can bring it. But because I am very anal and hate surprises because well I need to know everything haha I gave my mom 2 dates she could choose from (also because i have several weddings to go to before mine so she needed a good weekend)

but i will most likely end up knowing it is my shower so thankfully i will have my hair nice and makeup on and then can change into the dress at the shower.

wow you girls are clever! i can't believe i didn't think about that! i've been living by an ALC (always look cute) motto since a few months ago..and just giving an outfit to my MOH would have been sooo much easier! since there's only a month left until the date, i guess i can keep up with dressing a little extra special every time i go out..just until the wedding though..after that all bets are off!

I kinda have a feeling that its a fake party for someone in March, so I will be ready just in case just hope the right date is when I wear my outfit! I have 3 events in March all on different weekends.
