Ok, can I ask a stupid question. What the hell is Diamond White and how does it differ from white. When I went for my trial with JN she asked me if my dress was diamond white. I was like, I dunno, it's white LOL. I felt so stupid. So please enlighten me ladies.

Re: Stupid Question
White is a color like all other colors and comes in shades. Just go to the paint store. there are tons of white swatches. Diamond white is a super white from what I understand. Ask the bridal salon for a thread from the gown and you can bring it to show her.
She did my makeup on my big day and it was amazing. I wish she could do my makeup every day!

Re: Stupid Question
I may be wrong, since I myself am not wearing a diamond white dress, but I believe it's not a true white. It's not that bright, bright white and it's not an ivory - it's sort of (if we're talking paint colors) an eggshell.
I think!???
ETS: Hmmm...reading Michele's post, seems I'm wrong. *sorry*

Re: Stupid Question
no Jordan you were correct! And this is not a stupid question! i wasn't sure either...until I asked! White is true pure bright white. Diamond white is a slightly tamer more ivory shade, without beign ivory. When i went to get my shoes dyed...they told me there were over 70 shades for white my gown is silk, and because silk cannot be pure white - it is called diamond white. i went with it because i loved the dress, and because i'm so pale that the white looks terrible next to my fair skin!

Re: Stupid Question
Thanks ladies. Over 70 shades of white I would have thought that Diamond white would be brighter white than regular white. Thank you for clearing this up for me. BTW, Michele31, I loved the way she did my makeup!
