Why is it that hair and makeup for weddings are so expensive? I have had my hair and makeup done for other formal events and it was never that much. But as soon as you mention 'wedding' the prices go up.
I know I am probably being cheap, but I really don't want to spend $300 to get my hair and makeup done.

my hair will be $50 plus tip just going to hair salon but i have no clue on makeup only because a friend is doing it. She is working up the figs now.

Its ridiculous. Theyre using the same products, its not like they whip out some ultra expensive 'wedding' products. Thats why Im going to my regular girl who does beautiful wedding hair. There's no way Im spending money on someone who will do the same job she will except 200 dollars more.

I just had my hair and makeup trail at cactus in dix hills and they charger 70 for my updo and 55 for makeup and did a fabulous job!!! It sright on jericho turnpike so its easy to get to also

haha... when you go for the trial you can refer to your veil as the 'white tulle accessory for your hair'
they'll never know!! hehe
