Re: stupid question
you can throw in a can opener or some wooden spoons or some dish towels...little things for the house that don't cost much would be good.

Re: stupid question
You canput anything. Peelers, Can opener, ice cream scooper, pot holders, towels or bottle opener. Small things that are used everyday. You can even give her a set of all different spices. Wooden Spoons or spatula's. All great ideas.

Re: stupid question
I somethings throw in a pack or two of thank you cards. Even though some brides already have thank you cards or get ones from the BP or her mom that match the invites, I figure there will be a ton of things in the up coming months she will need thank you's for!

In the past I have thrown in gift cards, chip bag clips, magnets, cleaning products, dish towels, etc.

Re: stupid question
I like to put in things that are unexpected. The last shower I went to, I put margarita drink mix in and ice pop molds.

A wishing well is where the guests bring little gifts and put them in a wishing well prop, so to speak, that you can rent from party stores, halls, or make on your own. You just put little things that are unexpected and that will be useful to the bride.
One shower I went to someone made the bride a wishing well out of her garbage can she registered for, added two brooms on the side to make poles and I think she used the lid of the garbage can for the top. It was really cute!

Re: stupid question
Wishing well is usually for small everyday items. I usually get stuff like Clorox wipes, sponges, pot holders- whatever any person may use.

Thanks! She loves animals so I had to! LOL I got them at Maces NOT Macys. I think they are all closed now though. Maybe you could do a google search for them?
