ok so I'm designing my stamps on zazzle and i came to wonder if there is a point to doing custom stamps...
if you put custom stamps on your invites(outer envelope) wouldnt the post office print over them?? with the seal??
would the stamp look retarded when the guest receive them?

Re: stupid question about custom stamps
my thought is.....
if you ask them to 'hand cancel' the invites - they will NOT put the stamp over it. Some places will allow YOU to hand cancel the invites themselves...and you can put that mark over it wherever it looks good.
THOUGH - i am not going to lie....NO ONE will notice the stamp. We used very specific stamps for people for our STD's and NOT ONE PERSON NOTICED!

i agree....I was going to do this too but I think it is unnecessary money to be spent since no one notices. JMO

Don't forget that the custom stamps are larger than regular stamps, so even if you hand cancel, there's a possibility that the stamp will cover the stamp.

Re: stupid question about custom stamps
do the hand canceling so the stamp doesnt get covered.
