when you go to a trunk show what is it like? i picture it like a run way show!! now do you get to try on the dresses too?

nothing like a runway show - they just have the full collection of the dresses for the next season usually and someone from the company to help you - and you save 10% if you buy then - and of course you try on all the dresses you want

In a trunk show or sale (same thing) a store basically showcase one particular designer which means they bring in almost their entire line of bridal gowns. Usually, if you order your gown during the sale, you get a discount. You get to try on many gowns that you probably wouldn't see on a regular visit to that bridal shop, so there's usually a nice big selection.
If you love the designer, they are definitely worth the visit.

I went to a trunk show for Eve of Milady at Bridal Reflections. Basically, they have all of her dresses hanging around the salon. They also had a 'sneak peek' at her 2005 line. These particular dresses will not be released to the public until Spring '05. I made an appointment & they spent almsot 2 hours with me trying on all of her dresses. Plus, if you bought that day, you got 15% off. It is worth it, especially if you love that particular designer
