stupid question about unity candle

stupid question about unity candle

where does this happen? is this at all churches?
ive never seen this before. i already got my candle but im not sure where and when we're going to light it - i know ill ask the priest when we go april 9 but was wondering what you ladies think and know...
we're getting married in a rc church.

in church you light it during the lighting of the unity candle part of the ceremony...IF you want to...if you google, you can find all of this info and places to buy them

There is a part of the ceremony when the candle is lit. Your parents light the outside candles representing your seperate lives and you take those candles and light the unity candle together symbolyzing your union. It's really very nice.
