Do you ever tie/put the wedding bands on the pillow or is it just for show and BM holds them officially in his pocket??
As much as I love him, I'm not trusting my 5 year old nephew with our rings. I'm tying fake ones onto the pillow and the best man will have them in his pocket.
I am trusting my 8 year old brother with the rings.... it will be that much more special for him and for us!

I always wondered this myself - but doesn't the ring bearer just simply walk down the aisle with the darn pillow? How can anything happen to them on such a short walk? I mean, does someone just hand him the pillow at the last minute before he makes the walk? (I'm confused)
Our Best Man kept the rings with him and right before the ceremony started the rings were tied to the pillow. So RB only had the rings from the time he walked down the isle to the ring exchange part.
