Stupid Question: Which flowers are light in weight???

I am starting to think about my bouquet and I don't want a super heavy one. At the same time, I don't want a tiny dinky bouquet either.

I've heard of other brides complain after their wedding that their bouquet was WAY too heavy.

probably roses, tulips, or stephanotiss. I think calla lillies would weigh alot because they have such thick stems, so you might not want them. Im sure if you ask the florist to keep it light, they can help

A lot of the weight depends on how the florist does the BQ... they can put the flowers into wet foam, the flowers will last longer as they are wet, but that will be heavier.. the other way is when all the flowers are wired and then put together... this is lighter because no water, but the flowers may dry or discolor sooner... (it will probably be fine for the wedding day, as most florists use sprays to keep the flowers looking fresh, but it could happen that white flowers will start to look brown towards the end of the night)
