I am having my makeup trial the day of my cousin's wedding. My Fi will be at the wedding with me also, but do I tell him that my makeup is the one from a trial or do I just not say anything? Is your makeup a surprise too? I know, dumb question.

I think so! I had mine on the day we did our engagement photos - trust me, nothing looks the same exact on the day of your wedding with your dress and hair done!

I also had my trial the day of our e-pics and my make-up lady said not to worry about my FI seeing it b/c she would do it differently for the wedding. He loved it when he saw me though (I don't usually wear a lot of make-up). The only things he shouldn't see beforehand are your gown,headpiece and probably not your lingerie.

ill show his mom, but im not showing him cause i dont wear makeup very often and he knows that so i think he will be more suprised and happy in my case seeing it the day of!

DH had to get me to my makeup trial as well (I don't drive) so yes he saw it....he is use to me with makeup so it was no big deal at all....(although I had much more than I needed on for a day of shopping at Roosevelt Field!) I don't see the problem with it unless you think you are doing something so different or special you prefer him to be surprised.

Lauren 2003Oct10 did have some good ideas about the trial- wear white or the color of your dress and get it done in the morning so you can keep it on all day to see how it will change and in different lights.

if you can, wear a shirt that looks like your dress if you want too....(ie - a white tube top if strapless, etc)
