How do you communicate w/ your bridal party? I was thinking e-mail would be easiest, but now thinking it's too informal. Don't want to do a faux pax (sp?). Sorry for the dumb question .

i made up a bridal newsletter that i sent out every two mths for 6 mths then mnthly the last three mths before the wedding.

For 1, I could only call her because she didn't have an email account at the time.
The other 4, I would send group emails, sometimes individual emails. I was finsishing my Master's degree, working full time, and planning and paying for my own wedding.
3 of the 4 were more than happy with it.
Of course the 4th, my bridesmaid from hell, complained about the 'emails' at my rehearsal dinner and said that I treated my wedding like it was a business transaction...but, she is really not a stable person, so I wouldn't worry too much about sending out emails.

I usually just talked to them about it and followed up with emails as reminders.

I do emails. It's especially good if you just want their opinon. I'll probably send out something more formal as we get closer to the day.

I guess I'm a bad bride. I only speak to 5 our of the 7 on a regular basis. I have sent e-mails from time to time to the group. It's just easier. They haven't seemed to have a problem with that.
