I usually love my satellite dish, but with all this thunder and storm activity, it's not getting the signal. It is so annoying! I was going to watch a movie tonight - good thing I decided against it.

I have lost my satellitte every day for the past week and a half because of these stupid storms.
I feel like I have watched every DVD I own to keep myself amused

It's awful, isn't it? This time it was out for about 30 minutes. Other than this problem, I absolutely LOVE my dish. Wish they could find a way to fix it.

I remember two weekends ago when we had the really bad storms... we lost all our satellites at Sutton Place while I was DJing. It was a good thing we have a backup cable connection from Time Warner so all the customers were still able to watch the Lakers game.

YIKES -DJPill that is bad. I remember once I was working in a bar in Bayside & we had a snowstorm during the SuperBowl & lost our signal for the last 2 minutes before 1/2 time. I sent my barback on the roof to sweep the snow off the dish
It got very ugly in there....never come between a sportsfan & the big game!

Hahahahah yeah. Thats why we have a cable hookup as well... for this reason. Most likely any major sports event will also be on basic Time Warner cable.
But yeah I could only imagine the riots that could have happened there. Was that at First Edition or Sullivans?
