So we ordered them online and they came out GREAT!!
We decided to make a test 'mail' to ourselves to see how the postcards would go through the mail. We mailed one from our post office and one from the UN.
They both came back mangled, and crappy :(
So last night we had to go out and buy 110 envelopes Nice ones). We had to print labels on the computer, AND retun address. Stuff and lick the envelopes!! (ok so I used a sponge for the envelopes, but you get the drift )
AAKKKK!
We got postcards to avoid all this!
But they are done. we will be mailing them from the UN tomorrow!

well that *****! That's a great idea mailing it to yourself. I hope I remember to do that when I send mine (IF I send any).
but you can't blame the STDs.. blame the post office for being so messy

Doodoo!!! That's stinky! Do you work at the UN? My mother worked there for 34 years! She retired 5 years ago, but just this past year went back for a few temporary positions as Events Coordinator. I went to UNIS also. My mom mailed all the int'l invites from the UN.

Yup. Its just cool to have postage from an international source. Just a cool little touch!

COOL!! i never thought of doing that......I work at the UN myself so i will definetly try it out!! If i were you id go straight to the mail room and ask what happened that theyw ere sooo mangled.

Sorry to hear about the mailing issue, but mailing them from the UN is a very cute idea. Can anyone do it? do you just walk in and say 'mail these?'

Mine are arriving mangled too - I mailed out postcards - I should have got envelopes cause I saw my friends and it didn't look as nice with all the barcodes and stuff on it, but OH WELL - nothing I can do about it now they've all been sent...
