STUPID SNOW!!

IT only ever snows if I have plans. EVERY time it snows Ihave specific plans and I don't make specific plans very often.

Snow is forcing me to change my appt with TP. FH works in Brooklyn, usualy til 6 or 7 at night and next weekend I'm having surgery... so I don't know when else we'll get to go!





I'm hoping FH can manage to get out of work ON TIME at 5pm for once and go straight to Selden with me.
ON TOP OF THAT since I'm having surgery Valentine's weekend, we were gonna go out for dinner this weekend instead and that might not happen now either.
BOOOOO

AAAAANNNNNDD, I'm supposed to drive upstate Sunday to see my best friend who just got her pharmacy license to celebrate. She's my MOH and there's so much wedding stuff I wanna show her too!! GRRRRRR!
I effing HATE snow and I need to move to Arizona.

i'm sorry! I usually like the snow, but this weekend I'm supposed to come to NY and I dont want to drive in the snow either, so I'm hating the fact that its supposed to snow tooo ughhhhhhhhhh

OH, and I forgot to mention that since I'm the 'super' for the house, I have to saty here to be able to shovel and salt the property. So on top of my plans all potentially being suckily canceled, I can't even go spend the weekend with FH at his house bc I have to take care of the stupid snow here.

WHy can't it effing snow when my plans are SCHOOL and WORK?

I feel you - i have stuff going on this weekend too so I hope the snow doesnt eff it up!!

I love the snow - i love the cold - i ususally dont have problems with it but since the area in which I live doesnt know how to handle snow or the people live around here it makes it more difficult!!! grrr its annoying

Is it July yet?

I feel your pain!!!!! FH and I are going to a concert in Jersey Saturday night. Notice I say that we ARE going, snow or not, he's driving.

... WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

SNOW WILL LIKELY DEVELOP FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE WATCH AREA FRIDAY NIGHT... AND CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY... BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATE IN THE DAY. AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL LATE FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR 4 TO 9 INCHES OF SNOW TO FALL ACROSS SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE TRI-STATE... WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS IN LOCATIONS CLOSEST TO NEW YORK HARBOR AND THE ATLANTIC.

THERE IS STILL QUITE A BIT OF UNCERTAINTY ON THE EXACT TRACK OF THE STORM. THE AREA IS ON THE NORTHERN PORTION OF THE PRECIPITATION SHIELD... AS A RESULT... ANY CHANGE IN STORM TRACK LIKELY WILL RESULT IN A LARGE CHANGE IN FORECAST SNOW AMOUNTS. A TRACK FURTHER NORTH THAN CURRENTLY EXPECTED... WOULD RESULT IN MORE SNOW... WHILE A SHIFT TO FURTHER SOUTH COULD RESULT IN LITTLE OR NO SNOW FALLING ACROSS THE WATCH AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW... SLEET... OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.

Actually, the news was actually just talking about why the hell Albany keeps dodging snow storms this year!

Maybe it won't snow....the news always manages to screw something up!!!

I'm hoping, Cat, really. Fingers crossed, but I don't generally have that kind of luck!

im just annoyed that no one is telling us how much we are getting. The only plus is FH is coming down here again this weekend instead of going to CT like we were supposed to

I hope that it doesn't snow much so you can keep your plans the way they are...I can't wait for the summer!
