Why is it when Long Island is going to be like an inch of snow does the whole world shut down? I coach gymnastics for school and our meet tomorrow has already been cancelled because of the threat of a LITTLE snow. Sorry, just had to get that out.

Well yes....a few inches in NC is difficult. I went to college in Virginia and we got out of a week of classes because of a snow storm. But we are not really expecting much snow here. They keep saying 2 - 4 inches, which is like nothing for Long Island. I just dont understand why people jump to cancel things so far in advance. I would bet that we wake up tomorrow morning with either a dusting or nothing at all.
COULD NOT AGREE MORE!!!!! I went to school in NH and they laugh at us by how we react to like 6 inches - ummm that's not a big deal!!!!!
