Stupid Solicitations!!!

So my mom just answered the phone when it rang and the person on the line says 'hello this is *** from musicians showcase. Can I speak to the 26 year old caucasion female'...ummmmmmmmm HELLO!!! Thats how you ask to speak to someone!!!?? SO RUDE!!! My mom yelled and the woman and told her to never call again. ***!!!

I agree...hysterical...rude ...and stupid . Can they actually think that anyone would say 'Yes, I am the 26 year old caucasion female who is getting married... I would love to hear your sales pitch.'

How can someone run a business like that? I have never had to check a box at an expo that states my ethnicity. How do they know?

What the hell??? That takes some nerve! Why even bother calling if you don't have a name?

I'm sick of the solicitation calls as well, but that one takes the cake!!!

A couple of times the people calling asked what vendor I had booked already when I told them I had someone!! I actually told one guy that it was none of his business who I had booked with!!

I had that happen too with a florist. The secretary called to follow up - which was fine. I told her I booked with someone else and I thanked her. A couple of days later, the person I actually saw there called me up and said something to the effect of 'Well we spent so much time at your appointment....'. I am sorry but I already HAVE a mother if I wanted guilt. THAT does NOT work for me. HE then asked who I booked with . I told him I would rather not say.
