FH lives in Colorado, so this weekend he and his bestman went down to the MW over there to get fitted. They had told us a while ago that once they get his measurements, they'll send his tux to New York at whichever location we prefer. When he got there, however, they claim that the one right here at Smith Haven Mall does not even exist. In fact, they couldn't find ANY on the Island at all. So instead of sending it over here, they put in their computer to ship it over to Manhattan. yeah right. Like we're gonna have time to drive all the way into the city the day before the wedding. Stupid, stupid, stupid. So I found the LONG ISLAND store's address & phone number. FH is gonna give that info to the one in Colorado and have the tux shipped here instead. It should be fine (I hope). But how dumb is that???? Seriously! If I can find the store on GOOGLE why can't they find it on their 'special' computers?

They have a MW in the Source mall on Old Contry Road. My OOT GM picked them up in that location. I am not sure why they would tell you that they dont have one. The name changed a couple of months ago from After Hours to MW so maybe that's why they can't find it on a search. It's still crazy that they wouldnt show it in their listings.

oh that is so scary. we are using them too and have all out of state groomsmen practically. NY, NH and VT - I hope, in a way, the guys just get the tuxes in their home states and bring them to LI. sorry you had stress!

I am confused why you are having the tux place ship it. Why couldn't you just submit the measurements here & use the tux they give you...and then return before he leaves???
That is what we are doing. My guy lives in FL & we just gave tux place the measurements.

I went with Rogers Tuxedo in Centereach. They were great. My step brother lived in NC. All he had to do was get measured and then call it in to Rogers. Everything went over smoothly. Also they have a stock there, so if the measurement wasnt exact he had plenty of more sizes there.

Seriously, it's not difficult. I don't understand why they were suddenly so confused about their own Branch existing on Long Island. I sent FH the information though, so he's gonna call it into his place and make sure they change it. They had told him to just do that and it would be no problem. So hopefully it works out.
