My mom has known where I registered for MONTHS yet nothing has come off my registry. Normally I could give a crap BUT when she got the invitation to my cousins bridal shower a few months ago.. LITERALLY that day she went online and ordered her gifts!! W-T-F ?!?!?!

Oh and I know she has looked at my registry b/c she made a stupid comment about something I had registered for

sounds like my mom - but in the end she would come through and get a gift - its just that her kids take last priority sometimes...
Mine is a real 'what will people think! I have to get her the best present so I LOOK the best at the shower' ind of thing - maybe your mom has similar tendencies?

You may be gettine something really big for your shower, like a bedroom set or something, maybe she is paying for the wedding and feels she is doing all she can?
