So after we realized our DIY centerpieces were impossible to do, we decided to do have the florist do it our centerpieces. We decided on submerged flowers, because they have few flowers honestly I am not a flower person. Here is what we are getting
1 - 14 x 4 vase 1 - 12 x 4 vase 1- 10 x 4 vase 1 - 8 x 4 vase each with one stem of a flower (either a callalilly, bacarra rose or blue delphinium) and a floating candle on top, with 6 votives also on the table.
She is charging 80 per centerpiece. Do you think this is enough, or should we go with more vases? Will the table look bare?
I'm just concerned that is will not be enough.

This was my cousins centerpiece. There were only 3 submerged flower/candles and it looked beautiful.
i am doing something just like that because i am not a flower person either... we are doing three tall vases per table (the three vases are each different heights) and then doing petals on the table... i think it depends on how wide the vases are... the width of the vases we are using are substantial when you put them together and it is going to fill a good portion of the center of the table

How funny that I was just researching this... Why can't you do it yourself or have a friend help you out? Just curious...

Actually, they DIY we were going to do, were these giants lanterns I found at home goods (they were about 2 feet hight). But between the lantern, the vase insert, the heavy pillar candle, the vtoives and the mirrors, it was just way too much to transport. We were only saving like 300.00, so we decided to go ahead with a florist.

Ahh okay gotcha!! I think if you add some rose petals or flat crystals around the vases it can make it look more full...

I think that is plenty! The less the better I feel. Simple is always the best!
