I've never heard of this before, but I just had an idea. I am submerging white orchids in colored water, what if I added seltzer? I think the bubbles on the flowers would look pretty, but I don't know if it would adversely affect the flowers. Dendros are hardy aren't they?

I would try it first and see how they hold up. I think it would be really nice though!
Very pretty idea. Modern and clean.

I don't think you would see the bubbles from just selzer.. especially if its out for a long time, it will probably lose any bubble sort of effect. I like the orchids idea though! My CPs are in a clear glass base vase that will be lit up with an LED light at the bottom and there is a gel/water substance that looks like bubbles

My FFIL has those gel balls that act as water, they are pretty cool,.....when I was in Michaels the other night I saw them in there........You can get a bunch of different colors.
