Subway Series Tickets.....

I just got my hands on two tickets to a subway series games. I am going to have to shout and cheer even louder for the mets because we will be at Yankee Stadium. Wow I haven’t been there since I was 12. There is no reason for me to go there unless the mets are playing there.

I am going to dress up in full Mets gear and get pumped up and make a huge sign and I’m going to be act as annoying as a yankee fan is at shea……….LOL can’t wait!

I'm going to the July 2nd game at Shea.

I'm not afraid of Yankee fans...they can bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to cheer so loud for the mets that this time i'll loose my voice completely!

I lost my voice a little on saturday when I went to a mets game vs. the rockies and was cheering so much.

I am going to go nuts at Yankee Stadium. DH will probably ask me not to open my big mouth to any yankee fan. He hates it when I do it at shea but this time i'm sure DH will be like 'babe we're not gonna be at shea this time, we'll be in their territory' as if that scares me. If they boo my mets i will boo the yankees.

i'm gonna boogie with the mets in the boogie down bronx!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was waiting for you to respond

in all the yankee games that i've been to where the yanks are playing a team other than the mets, i never saw one met jersey

everytime i go to shea i see at least 5 yankee jerseys.

actually I do not agree with fans who do this .. but its not such a big deal if Yankee fans are 'annoying' at Shea (within reason, of course). If it begins a serious fight, well that's another thing. When you pay the price of admission, you have every right to go to any ballpark in the country and root AGAINST the home team! Personally I'm not vocal , nor do I 'boo' the Mets at Shea when they aren't playing the Yankees.. But I certainly don't cheer the Mets on, either! Hell would freeze over b/f that happened!

What I find ironic is the continuous need to rehash the fact that some Yankee fans dared to root AGAINST the METS at Shea Stadium ... ! Oh my! Bad bad Yankee fans! Its soooo not a big deal

.. as I said yesterday, bring it on. You Mets-loving, Mets-garb wearing folks can gladly come to The House that Ruth Built. We welcome everyone to the home of the 26x World Series Champs...even loser-team loving Mets fans

Hmm .. well now and again, I have seen a few Mets jerseys at non-subway series games at Yankee Stadium .. but it hardly bothers me

as for why you see so many Yankee fans (jerseys) at Shea .. Well here's my theory. On an average day, its a lot easier to score tickets to a Mets game than a Yankees game . I know that I'm constantly offered tickets to Mets games, which I politely refuse

I edited my post , because I did not mean to imply that Mets FANS are LOSERS. That wasn't my intent, mea culpa! (my FH is a Mets fans, and far from a loser .. gotta clarify that!) What I was trying to say were that Mets fans are misguided in their love of such a 'Loser Team'

I'll grant you that the bleachers at Yankee Stadium are rough .. but one of my worst experiences at Shea was in the bleachers also. It brings out the worst fans on BOTH teams .

Jealous! I wish I was going.

I am excited because the Yankees are playing the O's tonight so that means the game will be on tv here in MD. I was hoping that one of the partners would offer me their tickets, but that hasn't happened yet
