Such a disappointment!

My fiance and I decided to cancel our wedding for July 18, 2010.

As I'm sure you could imagine, this was a very difficult decision for us to make. To make matters worse, we are so disappointed to see how many vendors have avoided contacting us back regarding it. We sent e-mails, certified letters, and left messages.

When booking, everyone couldn't be more attentive.

What a disappointment! Although we are not getting married right now, we always intended to use them in the future. As you have probably seen from previous posts, we have also recommended a lot of them on LIW. We truly hope they step it up and give us the same respect as before.

So besides being sad, we are so annoyed now too!

I'm so sorry... I hope you can be back wedding planning real soon. Also terrible that your vendors are treating you that way. I would certainly be letting them know you will NOT need their services in the future.

Aww. I'm so sorry. I hope everything works out for you. As for the vendors, keep at 'em and remind them that you'd consider them in the future if their customer service is up to snuff.

Is there a time you can maybe rebook? Instead of calling and telling them you are going to cancel totally, perhaps if you said you have to rebook due to a situation out of your control they will be more willing to call back.
