Such a productive day!!!!!
1. We finalized the cake, although I have to rant about this vendor a little. We went with Campbell’s because we got a free cake from them or from Black Forest bakery but decided to go with them because they both got good reviews and we needed to set the appointment for Sunday and only they could accommodate us. After calling and making an appointment on Tuesday, we come there and neither the owner or cake designer were present. One of their staff helped us but she couldn't answer a lot of the questions and I have to call them again on Tuesday to see where we stand. The chosen cake is a square 4 tiered cake with vanilla and strawberry filling. it's going to be pretty simple in ivory with a Late color ribbon and flowers added by our florist for free (They wanted an extra $70 to add fresh flowers) IDK I'm thinking to go with Black Forest after this experience... ![]()

2. Went to our florist to see a sample centerpiece and after playing around with it this is what we came up with. The small cylinder will also be round and not square. It's going to be an extra cost because originally I wanted just one cylinder with flowers and more candles but it looked kind dull. I don't know how much extra because the owner wasn't there but I’m sure it won't be too much and totally worth it IMO.
3. Went to the hall to finalize our menu and linens. Menu I’m not completely satisfied with so we'll have to come back but linens are great!!!!!! Exactly our wedding colors. They didn't have them when w first booked so I was super happy for the upgrade.
Now FH is pushing for chair covers with a tied bow. I personally don't care but I’m willing to look into it for him. Could u recommend a cheap rental linen company?
