I have absolutley had it with my sister. I asked her to be my maid of honor and she so does not deserve it. She does nothing, does not help me, does not give any helpful feedback... All she does do is hurt my feelings...piss me off and make me want to
I wish I could take her crown of 'maid of honor' away...its too late now...
Vent over...thanks for reading

Re: Such a randon vent but need to get it out!
Awwwww Im sorry
Im kinda going through this too...but with my BMs....no one asks if I need help with anything- I have done EVERYTHING by myself....literally EVERYTHING. I thought the whole point of having BMs was so that they can be your support and go with you to places and help you out with little things. It's a bit disappointing isnt it? Im just trying not to let it get me down- and if I need help, I just keep asking FH.

I am so sorry you are going through this!
I personally would sit your sister down and explain to her exactly how you feel. She might feel that you might not want help or something. JMO

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Maybe if you sit her down and talk about what is bothering you she will change? And if she doesn't....at least you know that you did what you could to include her in the joyous aspect of your wedding planning and day. hope everything gets better for you! the big day is almost here!!!!

I can completely relate. In my situation, Ive learned how deep jealousy can run and how it can destroy a friendship. Especially when that person is in denial... =(
If you ever need someone to talk to me FM me anytime!
So sorry you have to deal with such stress.....take a deep breath and try to go to others who offer good insight and let your sister have some distance!

Oh my goodness I know how you feel. I have like one person in my wedding party helping me (MOH) and thats it. Being asked to be in someones wedding should be an HONOR. Whats wrong with girls these days??

I'm so sorry to hear that Rinne but honestly it might just be be that she has a bad case of wedding envy. Is she married or dating? I have found that the saying misery loves company is so true and sometimes it's worst within our own families. Hopefully you guys will fix this before it ruins your relationship..sending prayers and good vibes your way

Sit down and talk to her...do not let wedding stuff come between you...Life is to short to be angry. I would give anything just to talk to my brother again (he died suddenly a couple of weeks ago).

I know you were venting but, it's never too late. Sister, or no sister. It's a job that has responsibilities and expectations and if she's not performing... There is no reason why you HAVE to keep her because you are going to need the help of your MOH the day of. You should not be miserable, have regret and be frustrated this far before your wedding. Maybe you will have to take some heat from your family but it may just be worth it in the end. Just my humble opinion, good luck!

I tried talking to her ladies...its no use. She is young (18) but completly stubborn and only hears what she wants to. I think I have given up. Its just not worth it
