Suffolk Brides Please Help!

I am considering having an afternoon reception in Sayville next year. My dillema is that I don't know the area and I need to find a fun bar in the area that a large group (20+) of friends can go to after the reception to keep partying. Sayville would be close to the reception hall, but I may suggest hotels in Happauge. Even the Port Jeff area is an option.

Any of your ideas would help a lot. This might be a deal breaker with my FI if I can't come up with some options for our group.

I am not from Long Island and I am really hoping that you ladies can help me out.

what reception hall are you looking at? there is a bunch of nice bars right on montauk highway

you can block rooms at Danfords in Pt Jeff... there are a bunch of bars down there...

Thanks for the advice. Do you know how much they charge for a block of rooms if you aren't having your wedding there?

Sayville is on the South shore, Port Jeff is on the North. It can be a long drive.

Is there a specific place on Montauk highway? I hate being from OOT. I feel like I don't know anything.
